Darren St. Amant’s career within Corporate America began in 1986 serving in several key leadership roles within a Fortune 500 Company, MCI- WorldCom now known as Verizon. Notably, his last position held was Vice President of the Southeast. His hands on leadership approach created a “find a way or make a way mentality”, where failure was not an option within his Region. With passion, drive and ambition his Southeast Region surpassed the Company’s Performance objectives each year. He guided his Major Account Team through negotiations of many multi-million dollar contracts awarding him The Pace Setter Award from the CEO. After going through over 60 mergers and acquisitions of other Companies Darren retired from Corporate America in 2004.
He became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in 2005 operating in a management capacity as C.O.O. for GMAC Real Estate and VP of Sales & Marketing for RE/MAX Excellent Properties. After two successful years of Leadership in the Real Estate Industry, Darren launched his own private business under the RE/MAX Franchise Label. He has won numerous awards within the RE/MAX Organization, and has been repeatedly recognized for exceptional sales volume, and high transaction production. Along with being a recipient of the RE/MAX Hall Of Fame Award in 2012, Darren has been a production award recipient every year that he has been a RE/MAX Associate. Darren has a degree in Marketing but gives credit for his success to several key mentors along the way and enrolling himself in various Corporate Training Intensives. Everything from a Dale Carnegie Public Speaking student, then he returned as a Carnegie Public Speaking Instructor, to a Ten day Intensive named “Mentally Tough” in Saddlebrook Florida, with personal Coach and Performance Psychologist DR James Loehr. All were key building blocks that have left Darren with over 30 years of successful Sales and Marketing, Customer Support, and Negotiation skills that he draws from each and every day to be successful in an ever-changing Real Estate Industry. He enjoys helping each Client live part of the American Dream of Homeownership.
